For years, this well in Itungali community has faithfully served the villagers; supplying them with clean and safe water without fail. It was the only nearby source of water, and thankfully, a clean source of water no less. But then, the well’s hand pump would break down, this was expected as the well was dilapidated after years of service. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada was happy to rehabilitate the well and even replace its broken hand pump. Working alongside Lifewater RESCUE Kenya, Lifewater Canada ensured that the well was as good as new and is back at serving over two hundred people of Itungali.
