On behalf of Kanduru Village, May I take this opportunity to thank STADA KENYA In collaboration with Lifewater Canada very sincerely for the move they take to acknowledge our request to drill for us a borehole in the community which we believe to be a blessing to this village. Following that the community has been using polluted water sources which has been not good for drinking and domestic us long. This remedy shall reduce water-borne diseases that has been experienced in the community. Thanks to the organization, long live STADA/ Life water Canada. Looking forward to continue working with you. Yours faithfully, Samson Gombe
People of Kanduru community in Kenya's Kisumu county had known rivers and dams as their only source of water. The community had no well and therefore no source of clean and safe water. The trips to the rivers and dams were long and tiresome and the Kisumu's hot sun and high temperature made water collection an uphill task for the women and girls. But now the community is in a celebratory mood because Lifewater Canada funded the drilling of a new well and installation of a new hand pump. The villagers are happy to have access to clean and safe water from the village well and a promise of a good health.
