May I take this opportunity to sincerely thank STADA in collaboration with Lifewater Canada for drilling a borehole in Kanyagwal Chief’s Camp. This bold move shall be of beneficial to Kanyagwal community at large whom will be seeking services at the office. Long live Stada and Life Water Canada as I look forward to continue supporting tour programs in the location. Yours faithfully, Bonface Otieno Nyandeje, Chief - Kanyagwal
For years, residents of Kanyagwal village in Kenya's Kisumu county struggled to access clean water. The residents had access to a river that met their water needs, but had no nearby source of clean water. The villagers would report suffering from waterborne diseases such as diarrheal from drinking from the river. That is not the case anymore, because Lifewater Canada funded the drilling of a new well in Kanyagwal village and installed a new hand pump, giving the villagers access to clean and safe drinking water. The people of Kanyagwal village are looking forward to live healthy and robust lives.
