Taking into consideration the necessity of water in our deaily lives, we want to use this opportunity to say a very big thanks to you for providing us a safe drinking water (a pump) which we have a long being praying for over the years. Women and girls in Kissi town would often be spotted carrying heavy containers full of water from a creek in the village. This water, carried home daily, would meet households' water needs, but it would also expose residents to diseases as the creek was not a source of safe water. Thankfully, so much ahs changed in Kissi community, after Lifewater Canada funded the construction of a new well in the community, and even installed a hand pump. Girls and women are now happy to carry home clean drinking water from the community well.
