An open shallow well in Kissi community would provide the residents with much-needed water, but the shallow well's water was not safe for drinking, thus leaving residents exposed to diseases with every drop of drinking water. For this reason, Lifewater Canada funded the construction of a new well in Kissi community, and equipped it with a handpump. Residents of Kissi town are now enjoying clean and safe drinking and washing water from the community well.
