Dear Sir: It’s our ardent prayer that this commination meets you in good fate. The leadership and residents of the above mentioned community wish to extend to you and you and your institution ( Life Water Liberia Inc. ) our profound gratitude and thoughtful appreciation for a hand pump project done in quarter one of our community for the sole purpose of providing safe drinking water to the many residents. This gesture is a remarkable one as it’s often said “water is life” and also timely as our community (Quarter one) has been depending on a single public pump which had made fetching water a challenging one. It’s also our prayer that this relationship being built between our community and your institution will go a long way as we look forward to having other quarters in our community to benefit similar project. You can rest assure that we will do everything in our powers as leadership to maintain these pump to serve the purpose intended. Solomon Giah, a member of R2 Vai community, like his fellow residents, understands too well the effects of drinking and washing from unsafe sources of water. From running stomachs to itching skins, the challenges the residents faced during the years they did not gave access to clean water left them surviving instead of thriving. But then, our donors recently funded the construction of a new well in R2 Vai community, and installed a hand pump. Everyone in R2 Vai community has no challenges that come with drinking from unsafe sources of water, because their source of clean water, the community well, has ensured they have a uninterrupted flow of clean water.
