Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Several people living in Hour of Prayer Christian Church community could not afford clean and safe drinking water. This is because the clean drinking water was too expensive or too far from home that the villagers would often get water from a nearby shallow well. The dirty sources of water would make them sick but they had no choice, until Lifewater Canada gave them a better option; Lifewater donors funded the construction of a new well and installation of a new hand pump in the community. The residents are happy to have affordable clean and safe source of water.
