A shallow well was all the option the residents of Sand Beach town had to meet their water needs. The well's water is not safe for drinking and therefore exposed them to diseases. At the time, the village well was broken down, thus cutting off the supply of clean and safe drinking water. But our donors enabled us to rehabilitate the broken-down well, including replacing its old hand pump. Thus, the residents of Sand Beach town are happily drinking from the rehabilitated village well.
