Sand Beach community had no safe source of water for a long time after the hand pump on the local well stopped functioning. Children and adults were forced to rely on unsafe water sources which put them at risk of diarrheal diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater and Lifewater Liberia rehabilitated the well, including replacing the hand pump. Everyone in the community is happy to have safe water again.
