Dukpa II is a close-knit community in Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT Abuja, where many families earn their living through small businesses. For a long time, the community faced serious challenges with access to safe water. Residents had to rely on unsafe stagnant water sources, which led to typhoid, fever, and cholera. Children fell sick frequently and became weak. Lifewater came to the community's rescue and drilled a new borehole in Dukpa II, bringing safe water right into the community. This has made a big difference in residents' daily lives. Women and children no longer have to walk far to fetch water, and health problems related to dirty water have dropped. With easy access to water, families now focus more on farming, education, and other activities that improve their lives. The entire community appreciates Lifewater for this life-changing support and the renewed strength it brought to Dukpa II.
