We, the members of Awawa community located in Kwali Area Council, Ubosharu in FCT, Abuja Nigeria heartily express our profound gratitude to Lifewater Nigeria and its management, staff and employee for drilling a borehole in our community free of charge. Awawa is a rural settlement in Kuje Area Council, where most families depend on small-scale farming and local trading, while youth engage in brickmaking during the dry season. For years, Awawa's biggest burden was the daily struggle for water. With no functional borehole, people fetched water from streams two kilometers away. The path was rocky and unsafe, especially for children and pregnant women. The stream usually dried up, leaving the community desperate. Lifewater's arrival changed that story. A new well was drilled, bringing safe water, unity and hope to the community. Now safe water flows freely in Awawa. The long walks for water have ended. Mothers have more time for their homes, and children attend school without delay. The availability of safe water has strengthened community hygiene and wellbeing. The people of Awawa warmly thank Lifewater for their commitment and support, celebrating the new gift that brought joy, dignity, and lasting relief.
