Dazhogwa is a peaceful farming community in Obi Local Government, Nasarawa State, where families depend on farming and trading to meet their daily needs. For a long time, the community relied on a single borehole for safe water. When it broke down due to overuse, villagers faced the challenge of traveling long distances to fetch water from streams and wells filled with germs, often resulting in illness. During our visit, we rehabilitated the dilapidated borehole, restoring safe water right at the village. With safe water now close by, mothers no longer spend hours searching for water, and children stay healthier, play cheerfully and attend school regularly. The borehole has brought great relief to everyone, helping Dazhogwa grow stronger every day.
