I hereby take this opportunity to thank your esteemed organization, STADA in partnership with Life Water Canada and register our appreciation on behalf of the principal and Board of Management (BOM), Orongo Secondary School for generous gesture towards our school for drilling a borehole and the installation of the water pump. We really appreciate your endeavors in ensuring that Orongo Secondary School has clean and safe water for the learners. I am sure this project will go a long way in creating convenience in the process of our core mandate of learning and teaching and therefore create a better society for the future. We look forward to work with you in future in other segments of our school. We wish you all the best and God’s blessings in your future engagement. Yours Faithfully, Jason. M. Osotsi
Girls studying at Orongo Secondary School have been exposed to danger countless times whenever they leave their school compound in search of water. Both girls and boys would go for water, but girls were more vulnerable to asaults by some villagers especially when it starts to get dark. The students were forced to collect water from a well in the community because the school has never had a source of water. To provide students with clean water, and ensure the girls were not just safe but felt safe while collecting the much-needed water Lifewater Canada funded the drilling of a well in Orongo Secondary School, and installed a handpump. Every student now has easy access to clean water.
