The community of Kwa Ivia has highly appreciated Lifewater RESCUE Kenya for drilling water within this community .They also educated the community about health and hygiene through cleaning their jerricans and any other utensils since they have water nearby. Clean and safe water flowed in Kwa Ivila community for the first time on 5th of November 2025. The flow of clean water came immediately after the installation of the community well thoughtfully drilled by Lifewater Canada. The residents, now proud owners of a new and clean source of water, are happy to ignore the shallow wells in the dry riverbeds that played the role of sources of water for years but also exposed them to diseases as shallow wells are not clean sources of water. Through the support of our donors, the community of Kwa Ivila are safe from the effects of water related diseases as they look forward to easily accessing clean water from their well for years to come.
