I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding job you have done, successfully completing the project. Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Students at Mathakwa Comprehensive School and the community around it were drinking contaminated water from a nearby stream because there was no source of safe water in the school compound. The stream's water put children and adults at constant risk of contracting potentially deadly diarrheal diseases. These diseases kept students out of school and therefore affected their performance. Recently, Lifewater Canada donors funded the drilling of a well and installation of a hand pump in Mathakwa Comprehensive Schoo so students and community members have all the safe water they need.
