A message from the community

The Nazarene Church in Kisumu County operates a community nursery for 65 pre-schoolers. Its only toilets were so old, says teacher Lilian Nyatumba, that everyone feared they might collapse on top of a little boy or girl. Also, they were so unsanitary that anyone using them was at risk of becoming sick. Therefore, nursery administrators were very grateful when Lifewater arrived and, thanks to our donors, constructed new toilets that provide improved safety and hygiene for all the children.
