A message from the community
On behalf of Ori Bewanda ECD, I wish to thank STADA and Lifewater Canada for the latrine for our young students. The latrine will go a long way to improve the hygiene of our students and keep them healthy, safe, and happy. We are blessed that you help. -- Community Leaders

Ori Bwanda ECD school in Kisumu County has 200 students. They relied on broken-down structures for latrines for a long time. There were always fears the latrines would collapse on the students while they were using them. In addition, it was not easy to clean and maintain the latrines. So there was a dire need for new facilities but the community could not afford them. Lifewater Canada learned of the situation and funded the construction by STADA of a two-door latrine to provide a safe and clean place for the young and fast-growing students. Now, they feel secure against accidents and diseases.
