I, the Head of the Katakiti community, write on behalf of the community to thank Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Nigeria for their great efforts in the drilling of a new borehole in our community. My name is Mallam Usman. I thank God for this day for witnessing the good work of Lifewater in Katakiti Community. Before the organization came, we had been suffering from a lack of water. The stream where we get water from is so far away and not drinkable. We have to wait for the stream water to settle down before we can fetch it, as the water may have been made dirtier by cows and donkeys. We are so grateful to Lifewater for coming and drilling a new borehole for us all in the community. We can now sleep without worrying about how we are going to get drinking water. Thank you so much.
