The people of Dago community would like to say thank you to Stada Kenya and Lifewater Canada for solving our water problem by drilling us a well. We appreciate your generosity and support. ---Community Leaders
The people of Dago community in Kenya's Kisumu county had no clean source of water. The villagers relied on rainwater, but the harvested rainwater did not last during the dry season. When the rains stopped, the residents of Dago would get water from dams and rivers, unsafe sources that exposed them to waterborne diseases. But for the first time, the community members are happy to have a constant supply of clean and safe water. This is after Lifewater and Stada Kenya drilled the community a new well and installed a new hand pump. Thanks to our donors, clean and safe water is no flowing in Dago community.
