People living in Orongo market community would get water from other wells in the area. The problems was, the wells would sometimes run out of water considering the pressure from the high population that relied on them. Whenever the wells were dry, people and mostly women and girls would make their way to the rivers and dams in search of water. However, these women no longer collect water from the rivers and dams, all thanks to a new well in the community equipped with a new hand pump. Thanks to our donors, Stada Kenya was able to drill a new well in the community and equip it with a new hand pump. There is enough supply of clean water
