A message from the community
Our community is thankful to have access to clean and safe water because of our new village well. We thank you so much Stada Kenya and Lifewater for drilling a new well in our village. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Over four hundred people living in Olaokedia Self-Help Group community in Kisumu county would get water from a nearby river as the community did not have a well that supplies them with clean water. The villagers were aware that sickness such as diarrhea they often suffered from were caused by unsafe water but they had no choice. But Lifewater and Stada Kenya drilled the community a new well and installed a new hand pump, all thanks to our donors. Clean and safe water is now flowing in the community.
