Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

I am by name Dara Basuwo, from Shishipe II. Before now we had no clean water source in the community which was a big challenge to us all. Despite that the only source of water we had was dirty and also far from the community. In that same river the Fulani’s bring in their animals to drink from it making the water contaminated and full of germs afterwards. Despite it all we still fetch from the same river and make use of it as we have no other source. As a result of the terrible state of the water our children frequently fall sick with diarrhea and other waterborne diseases and we the adults having ulcer and other related sickness. We are thankful to Lifewater for giving us a new and clean source of water by coming to repair our damaged borehole. God bless Lifewater for helping the community restore back clean and portable water.
