A message from the community

We wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada for funding the rehabilitation of our broken-down well. We are happy to have access to clean and safe drinking water.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

A shallow well was all the option the residents of Kpuor town had to meet their water needs. The well's water is not safe for drinking and therefore exposed them to diseases. At the time, the village well was broken down, thus cutting off the supply of clean and safe drinking water.

But our donors enabled us to rehabilitate the broken-down well, including replacing its old hand pump. Thus, the residents of Kpuor town are happily drinking from the rehabilitated village well.
