The people of Yarkpazuah Town Q1 wish to say a big thank you for the Health and Hygiene training. This training has not only given us knowledge but also practical ways of how to live our lives henceforth. Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The community of Yarkpazuah Town Q1 has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia. However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited the community to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and protecting the environment, including water sources.
