We, the people of Massaquoi Town appreciate Lifewater Canada and the Service to Servants organization for visiting us and educating the community members on Health and Hygiene. This is one of the most important training we have had cause it touches on human life and health. Thank you very much. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The community of Massaquoi Town has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia. However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited the community to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and protecting the environment, including water sources.
