Frog Island Community

We the community of Frog Island are grateful to Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants for allowing us to learn Health and Hygiene. The training was very important and it came in due time. We will put everything we learned from the workshop into practice to improve the lives of everyone in this community. ---Community Leaders

The community of Frog Island has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia. However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited the community to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and protecting the environment, including water sources.
