A message from the community

On behalf of our students, we wish to give thanks to Lifewater Canada for funding the rehabilitation of our well. We now have access to clean and safe water and our students are spending more time learning instead of going out in search of water.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Over four hundred students at Yvonne E. Washington Memorial Academy in Liberia’s Montserrado County had no access to clean water. This because the hand pump was broken on their well, cutting off the supply of clean drinking water. So, our donors enabled us to rehabilitate the school well and replace its broken hand pump. The school’s rehabilitated well is now serving the students with clean and safe drinking water.
