A message from the community

We are happy with the repair of our broken hand pump. Thank you Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants for giving us another chance to collect clean and safe drinking water from our well. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The community of Kruker has several wells that supply the residents with clean water. The community also has a creek that runs through the village and residents would collect water from it whenever the nearby well to them was dormant. So, for two months, the hand pump on their well was broken, and everyone turned to the creek to easily collect water, although the creek’s water was dirty. To ensure clean water is easily accessible to the residents, Lifewater Canada funded the repair of the broken hand pump. Every villager is gratefully collecting clean water from the well.
