The hand pump on the well serving the community of Williams did not just fail, but it also denied residents access to clean and safe drinking water for two years. With the village well dormant, the residents relied on a shallow well in the village to supply them with water, even though the shallow well's water was not all that clean. So, our donors enabled us to repair the broken hand pump so clean and safe drinking water is flowing in Williams community.
