Water from a dirty creek was the only option for the children and adults living in Garlai after the hand pump on their only well broke down. Everyone knew the creek's water might make them sick with diarrhea and other illnesses, but they had no choice. Then our donors enabled Lifewater in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-profit organization in Liberia, to visit Garlai community, repair the the broken pump, and restore the grateful community’s source of safe water.
