A message from the community

Dear Sir: We are very happy for the new latrine you constructed in our community. The issue of latrine was a serious problem for this community. Thank god you have managed to solve this problem. May the Lord continue to bless the works of your hands. Chief Reuben John

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

On June 25, 2010, a clustered workshop was held for the communities of Wood Camp C and D. 31 participants attended and were appreciative of what great information they brought back to share with their village, family and friends. Lessons were taught on how to share the lessons, on how disese is transmitted and how to prevent this from happening as well as handwasing techniques and how to chlorinate their water. A Washroom caretaker was chosen and time spent educating this family how to care for the washroom.
