A message from the community

We, the inhabitants of the Zeewhorr town, write to say thanks to your organization for building us 4-room toilet and for coming to educate us on how to take care of our health and environment. We promise to take good care of the toilet and also put into action all that we have learned from your H &H team.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Zeewhorr town in Margibi County has about five hundred residents. While the community learned so much about Health and Hygiene, they could not fairly observe proper sanitation because the residents lacked enough toilets.

Lack of enough toilets would result into open defecation, thus compromising the sanitation of the community and the health of people in the village.

But thanks to our donors, Lifewater Canada, in partnership with Service to Servants, has built new toilets in the community. Residents are grateful for this important step in improving their hygiene and providing a safer environment in which to thrive.
