A message from the community

Words cannot adequately express the depth of our gratitude for supporting our efforts to transition the rig by mounting it on the tuck. We are apply to get back to work and can't wait to see thousands of lives changed through the wells we are now privileged to be ablet to drill in the communities we serve. May God bless you.

--- David Wainaina, Director, Lifewater Kenya.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

While Lifewater Kenya has a drilling rig, for years, they were unable to construct wells as they had done years before. This is because the organization faced financial challenges complying with the new Kenyan government regulations for towing and operating a trailer-mounted rig.

Thankfully, Lifewater Canada spearheaded the transition of the trailer-mounted rig to a truck-mounted rig, therefore providing a reliable means of transporting the rig to various drilling sites while meeting the government regulations.

The Lifewater Canada rig has a capacity to drill down to 300 feet, and with a dedicated team ready to get back to work, the organization is grateful to have another opportunity to change lives by increasing access to clean and safe drinking water through the construction of wells.
