A message from the community

We, the members of Orongo Widows and Orphans community, wish to thank Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya for coming through for us and drilling a new well in our community. We now have a source of clean water, thanks to your generosity. ---Community Leaders

The people of Orongo Widows and Orphans village would get water from an open well. The well was not just dangerous in that it provided unsafe water, it was also a big open hole where residents, especially children, risked falling down the well. Because of the need for safe water and safety while accessing water, Lifewater constructed a new well in the community and installed a pump. The people of Orongo Widows and Orphans are happy to be safe while accessing clean water from the community's new water pump.
