We write to you, on behalf of our community, to thank you so much for giving us access to clean water through the construction of a new well. We are happy and grateful to be able to drink and wash from our new well without fear of catching waterborne diseases. May God bless you all . ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

The only known source of water for the residents of St. Luke ACK community in Kisumu county was a nearby river. The river's water was not clean for drinking but it was nearby and accessible to most of the villagers. While the community members would report suffering from waterborne diseases time and again, especially during the raining season, they did not imagine there could be a solution to their despair. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada brought hope to the community by fully funding the drilling of a new well in St. Luke ACK community, complete with the installation of a new hand pump. The village well is now providing over three hundred residents with clean and safe drinking and washing water.
