Life was a challenge for the residents of AIC Kochogo community in Kenya's Kisumu county because for years, they had zero access to clean drinking water. The residents would drink from open hand dug wells or nearby rivers, both are contaminated sources that exposed them to diseases. But our donors enabled us to provide the community with clean and safe drinking water by funding the construction of a new well in the community and installing a new hand pump. AIC Kochogo communal well is now serving over three hundred villagers.
