A message from the community
On behalf of our community, we write to say thank you to Lifewater Canada for saving us from the dangers of consuming dirty water by drilling a new well in our community. We are grateful to have access to clean and safe drinking water. ---Community Leaders

A river snaking through the village of Kamwani in Kisumu County, which is locally known as river Ombeyi, has been the only known source of water in Kamwani community. While the river’s water often made the residents sick, they had no other option. But our donors recently afforded the residents of Kamwani community a safe option by funding the construction of a new well, and installing a new hand pump. So, everyone in the village has access to clean water from the village well.
