A message from the community

The communities of Ori Bwanda and Kakoth are happy to have access to clean drinking and handwashing water provided by the new rain storage tank and handwashing station. We are grateful for the continuing support and love of Lifewater Canada. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Ori Bwanda ECD school in Kakoth, in Kenya's Kisumu has about 200 students who did not have access to clean drinking water -- leaving everyone susceptible to a variety of waterborne diseases -- until Lifewater Canada funded the installation by STADA of a rainwater harvesting system which includes a 2,500-litre storage tank and hand-washing station. The teachers and parents at the school are now hopeful that they will live happy and healthy lives while doing well in their academic work.
