A message from the community

The students and teachers of Ofunyu Primary School thank the Lifewater team for our clean flowing water. We appreciate the effort put into the well rehabilitation and the success of it. God bless you! -- School board chairman

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

About 1,200 girls and boys at Ofunyu Primary School were forced to drink from dirty rivers and ponds -- putting everyone at risk of becoming sick -- for about two years after their local well stopped working. But safe water is available again for all the very grateful students, thanks to Lifewater Canada donors who funded a rehabilitation of the well, including a repaired hand pump.
