A message from the community

The Kivou Primary School community wishes to express sincere gratitude to Lifewater Canada for the provision of a new well. Your help comes at a time when we are experiencing severe drought. We are grateful for a clean source of water. -- School Administrators

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kivou Primary School in Kitui County has 524 students whose only nearby source of water was a river that was drying up and always leaving people fearful of becoming sick by drinking from it. But thanks to generous Lifewater Canada donors, there is now a newly drilled well and hand-powered pump at the school to ensure every boy and girl always has enough water for drinking and sanitation.
