A message from the community

We in the Kagolla Community want to thank Lifewater Canada for the good job you have done for us with the replacement of our broken hand pump. Thanks for ensuring we have clean and safe water. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kagolla Community has about 400 people, all of whom rely on a local well for their supply of safe water for drinking and other household needs. A month ago, the well's hand-powered pump stopped working. Out of necessity, everyone had to go back to their old and unhealthy habit of drawing water from unsafe sources such as nearby rivers. But recently, Lifewater's generous donors enabled us to replace the broken hand pump so the community well is providing safe water again to grateful residents.
