A message from the community

Kanyangoro Community is so grateful for the service done to Kanyangoro Primary School's hand-pump. The pump had failed to provide water to our students for over two weeks after it broke down. It is truly our joy to have the support of Lifewater Canada in the replacement of the pump. May God bless you. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The 800 students at Kanyangoro Primary School had no source of safe water after the hand pump on their well stopped working two weeks ago. Boys and girls had nothing to drink nor to wash with -- harming both their health and their hygiene. But thanks to our generous donors, Lifewater visitedrecently and replaced the broken pump. Students at the school and other people living in the surrounding community now have all the safe water they need again.
