A message from the community

On behalf of the whole Kasaoke Community, we express our gratitude to Lifewater Canada for working so hard to provide our community with clean and safe water by replacing our hand pump. We are all very grateful. -- Community Leader

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kasaoke Community has about 600 children and adults who didn't have any safe water for about three weeks after the hand pump on their local well stopped functioning. Residents were forced to drink from the nearest rivers, which resulted in waterborne diseases. But now Lifewater Canada's generous donors have enabled us to replace the broken pump. Everyone in the grateful community has safe and readily accessible water again.
