We the people of Kakoth Community wish to extend our gratitude to Lifewater Canada for the gift of a new water well. You have changed our lives and given our children a chance to grow in safe environments. Thank you so much. -- Community Leaders

Rivers and swamps were the only available water sources for the 700 children and adults living in Kakoth Community. This sad situation resulted in the spread of waterborne diseases and even deaths among some infants. But recently, Lifewater drilled a well and installed a sturdy hand-powered pump. Grateful residents now have a source of safe and easily accessible water for all their drinking and other household needs, thanks to the sacrifices made by our donors.
