A message from the community

The Kotiany community wishes to thank STADA Kenya and Lifewater Canada for the amazing work done on our communal hand pump. We are happy to have clean water in our community. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

More than 1,000 children and adults living in Kotiany community in Kisumu County did not have any access to safe water for years after the hand pump on their local well stopped functioning. Everyone was forced to drink rainwater when it was available, and from a dirty river. Recently, Lifewater Canada donors funded a new hand pump and rehabilitation of the entire well -- restoring the community's access to safe water.
