The people of Manyatta Gonda community are thankful to Lifewater Canada for the repair of the hand pump on our communal well and the consequent supply of clean and safe water. May God bless you. -- Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Children and adults in Manyatta Gonda community in Kisumu County had no clean and safe water after the hand pump on their well developed mechanical problems. Residents would get water from dirty rivers which then resulted in people contracting stomach sicknesses. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada donors funded the replacement of the hand pump and rehabilitation of the well -- restoring the flow of safe water in the village.
