A message from the community

Teachers and students at Ugwe Primary School wish to express our gratitude to Lifewater for the rehabilitation of our well. We thank you lots. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Ugwe Primary School in Kisumu County has about 700 students who rely on the school's well for safe drinking water. When the well's hand-powered pump stopped working, boys and girls had to begin drinking from a nearby stream. This led to many stomach aches and other sicknesses. But recently, Lifewater replaced the broken hand pump and rehabilitated the well. Safe water is readily available again for everyone at Ugwe Primary School.
