People from Kagonda were without safe water for weeks after the hand pump on their only well stopped working. Children and adults had to begin drinking and bathing with contaminated water from the nearest swamps and rivers. But recently, through the generosity of our donors, Lifewater repaired the broken pump. Safe water is available again to everyone.
