A message from the community
We are so grateful to Lifewater for the repair of our hand pump. It's been two long years without clean drinking water. After the pump's repair, we now have good water. We are all very grateful. -- Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
For two years after the hand pump on their community well failed, children and adults in Kamuga had no access to safe water. They had to drink from the nearest river and risk becoming sick with diarrhea and other waterborne illnesses. However, due to the generosity of our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken pump. The community well is providing safe water again.
