About 600 people in Kandaria rely on the village's well for all their water needs. When the well's hand pump stopped working, children and adults had to begin drinking from unsafe sources that put them at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. But recently, thanks to our donors, Lifewater repaired the hand-pump. The village is happy to have safe water from the well again.
